1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. quick-cooking oats
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 cup honey
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Methods/steps

Preheat oven to 325º.

Combine oats and applesauce; let sit for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well.

Coat an 8" square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Spread the batter evenly in the pan and bake for about 22 minutes or until the edges are firm and the center is almost set.

Cool to room temperature, cut into squares and serve.

These were not good at all, I like almost every recipe on this site, but not these, they were very thin and you could taste the applesauce and honey in it, plus they do not hold together well. None of my kids liked them nor did my husband.
