1 lb. very lean ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
1 pkg. Taco seasoning mix
1 can Ranch Style beans
1 can pinto beans (with jalapenos, if preferred)
1 1/2 cups water
1 can tomatoes with green chilies
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can yellow hominy

Methods/steps

Combine the ground beef and onion; saute until beef is browned and onions are tender. Add taco seasoning and water.

In a large stockpot, combine the beef mixture and remainder of ingredients. Simmer over low heat for about 1 1/2 hours.
