Combine the flour, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon; stir to mix well. Add the buttermilk, applesauce and vanilla extract; stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in the raisins.
Coat an 8" x 4" loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray. Spread the mixture
evenly in the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Remove pan from oven and let sit for 10 minutes. Invert the loaf onto a wire rack to remove bread from pan. Turn right side up and cool before slicing.
