My Weight Watchers Journey
My Weight Watchers Journey
For tjose who have asked: my true hair colour can be seen in June '06 pic. Different lighting and exporseures makes it look different.

December 2004

Taken at a bar party before my birthday 4 months before Weight Watchers. I always was upset about my weight and did WW a few times but failed because I got lazy and stopped going to the meetings. After I saw this pic I decided that this would be the last birthday that I would be this weight.

March 2005

Taken the week before I started Weight Watchers. Can you tell that I love to wear black?

June 2005

18lbs down and sleeveless in public for the first time in over a decade. I always hated my arms and suffered through many hot Chicago summers because I had to cover them up. I still don't like them and have to tone them up a lot but I got a lot of compliments when I started going sleeveless...and stayed a lot cooler! Great hairpiece, huh?

July 2005

26lbs. down! When I see this pic,I can really see a difference from when I started WW,

June 2006

After going off WW from November to May out of frustration of my plateau, I had gained 6lbs over the holidays-which broke my plateau, but the wrong way! I started again right before Memorial Day 2006 and as of the end of June, am down 10lbs. So I have lost a grand total of 36lbs.

October 2006

I am still working at it...and at a plateau again! I am down 40lbs now so I guess it will be a long journey for me. But I keep telling myself that I have come a long way and although I have not lost, I have not gained which is good.

December 2006

My Birthday...what a difference 2 years makes! I am still struggling yet maintaining which is good. I wish I could lose more and get to my goal but you know what? I have kept this off for almost 2 years and what an accomplishment-that alone makes me proud. If I don't get to my goal, it's ok.
