Hi there! I'm Julia, and I'm 29. I'm glad you stumbled across my website. I hope I can be an inspiration to you, like many other's on here were to me. What brought me here? Well, for most of my I've been overweight most of my life. From about 3rd grade to 8th grade I was at least 20 pounds heavier than I should've been. I've always played sports, so I've always been active, just ate way too much. When I started high school I started thining out. Not sure why, I just did. I graduated with my weight at 140 pounds.
Two years after I graduated I got married to a great guy who could eat anything and not gain a pound. So, since he ate all the time, so did I. We would eat Macaroni and Cheese and Stove Top Stuffing almost everynight. The weight piled on quickly. I wasn't playing sports anymore, so the weight wasn't falling off. By the time I was 23 I was pregnant with my first child and at my OB appointment I weighed in at 191 pounds. I about died. Sadly, that wasn't enough to make me care. When I was 26 I got pregnant again and weighed 198 pounds. I was actually proud of myself for only gaining 7 pounds in 3 years!
Diets came and went in my life. I tried everything from prescription diet pills to not eating at all. Nothing worked and if it did, it was only a short term fix. So, I eventually ballooned up to 217 pounds. My mom always bugged me to join her weight loss group, but I resisted. The more anyone bugs me about something, the less I'm likely to do it. No matter what the situation is. It wasn't until I got my 2nd offer on fat clothes that I realized that I needed to do something. I WANTED to do something. I researched different weight loss stratagies and decided after reading many websites about people who have lost weight on Weight Watchers to go for it! I joined on January 17, weighing in at 217 pounds. I chose the Flex Plan and get 29 points a day. So far so good. My first weigh in I lost 3.2 pounds! Keep checking back to see how I'm doing. Feel free to email me or leave me comments!
