Pamela's Cut Out Sugar Cookies
Serves - 40
Pts - 1

6 Tablespoons shortening
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons milk
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Methods/steps

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together and add to other ingredients. Mix well. Roll dough out thin and cut with cookie cutter. If dough is not stiff enough add a little more flour. Chilling dough makes it easier to handle. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
