1 large egg white or 1/4 cup egg substitute
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
10 drops hot pepper sauce, if desired
1/4 cup flour
3/4 cup crushed melba toast crumbs
8 ounces fresh whole mushrooms

Methods/steps

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil.

In a small bowl, combine egg, onion salt and hot pepper sauce; mix well. Place flour in a plastic bag. Place crumbs in another small bowl.

Place mushrooms in plastic bag with flour; shake to coat. Shake off excess flour from each mushroom. Dip into egg mixture, then coat well with crumbs. Place on foil-lined baking sheet. Spray all sides with non-stick
cooking spray.

Bake at 450 degrees for about 10-12 minutes or until crisp.
