Serves - 4

1 lb. Fresh Asparagus
cooking spray
2 Tbsp. light margarine
1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
salt and pepper, to taste

Methods/steps

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Clean asparagus and break away tough ends. Lay in glass pyrex baking dish in one layer, sprayed liberally with non-stick cooking spray. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until tips start to brown and spears become tender.
On stove top, heat margarine in a small saucepan until it starts to brown, being careful not to let it burn. Add balsamic and soy sauce; heat to reduce and thicken slighty.

Arrange asparagus on platter and drizzle with sauce. Serve immediately.

This was very good. Even my 2 year old liked it. The Balsamic just gives it a little extra something.
